This document outlines the policies, procedures, and consent requirements for all treatments provided by Pink Ink by Lina. Please read carefully before booking. By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following terms.

Booking Procedure

Once your appointment is provisionally booked, you will receive an email. Please check your spam/junk folder if it does not appear in your inbox.

The email will include your medical, consultation, and consent forms, along with a booking fee payment link. These must be completed, signed, and the booking fee paid within 48 hours for your appointment to be fully confirmed.

Appointments will not be confirmed if forms are not signed or the booking fee is not paid within this timeframe.

If you have had any previous PMU or tattooing in the treatment area, this must be declared in your consultation form. If you attend your appointment with undisclosed previous work and treatment cannot be carried out, your appointment may be cancelled and the booking fee retained.

Payment forms accepted: Cash & Bank Transfer.


1. Appointments & Cancellation Policy

• A booking fee is required to secure all appointments. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in loss of the booking fee. • Failure to attend your appointment (no-shows) will result in loss of the booking fee and may require full payment upfront for future bookings. • Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may need to be rescheduled and treated as a late cancellation.


2. Treatment Structure – Two Sessions

All permanent makeup treatments are completed over two sessions:

Initial treatment – creation of shape, colour, and foundation work • Perfecting session (touch-up) – carried out within 4–6 weeks after the initial procedure

Both sessions are essential for optimal healed results and longevity. Results cannot be guaranteed if the second session is missed. The touch-up session has small fee as stated in the treatment pricelist unless otherwise stated.


3. Patch Test Policy

A patch test is required for: • New clients • Clients with sensitive skin • Clients with a history of allergic reactions • Clients who have not had PMU treatment within the last 12 months

Patch tests must be completed at least 48 hours prior to treatment. Failure to complete a patch test when required will result in appointment cancellation and loss of booking fee.


4. Age Requirement

All treatments are strictly carried out on clients aged 18 years and over only. Valid photo ID may be requested prior to treatment. No exceptions will be made.


5. Medical Disclosure & Suitability

You must fully disclose all medical conditions, medications, allergies, and skin conditions prior to treatment. Certain conditions may require GP or specialist clearance, or may contraindicate treatment.

Conditions that may prevent or postpone treatment include (but are not limited to): • Pregnancy or breastfeeding • Autoimmune disorders • Blood disorders or use of blood-thinning medication • Skin conditions in the treatment area • Recent cosmetic procedures (e.g. Botox, fillers, laser) • History of keloid scarring • Active infections or illnesses

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may compromise results and void responsibility for adverse reactions.


5. Pre-Treatment Care

To ensure the best results, please follow all pre-care instructions provided prior to your appointment, including:

• Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medication for 24–48 hours (unless prescribed) • Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and sunbeds • Do not arrive with irritated, broken, or inflamed skin • Avoid waxing, threading, tinting, or exfoliating the area prior to treatment

Failure to follow pre-care instructions may affect results and healing.


6. Aftercare Responsibility

Proper aftercare is essential for healing and pigment retention. Aftercare instructions will be provided verbally and in writing.

• You agree to follow all aftercare instructions exactly as advised • Healing results vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare compliance • Pink Ink by Lina is not responsible for poor results due to failure to follow aftercare advice

Additional treatments required due to inadequate aftercare will be chargeable.


7. Results, Longevity & Adjustments

Permanent makeup results vary between individuals and specific results cannot be guaranteed. Factors affecting outcomes include skin type, lifestyle, immune response, pigment choice, previous work, and aftercare compliance.

• Colour may appear darker immediately after treatment and will soften during healing • Final healed results can take up to 6–8 weeks • Minor colour or shape variations are part of the normal healing process and are not considered a fault • Results on previously tattooed or worked-on areas cannot be guaranteed • The touch-up session must be completed within 4–6 weeks of the initial treatment; missed or expired touch-ups will be chargeable • Adjustments beyond the included touch-up may incur additional charges.

8. Emergency PMU / Tattoo Removal

Emergency pigment removal is time-sensitive and must be carried out within 48 hours of the original procedure.

• Results vary depending on pigment depth, ink type, and technique used • Follow-up removal sessions may be required • Emergency removal does not guarantee complete pigment elimination


9. Photography, Guests & Refund Policy

• Before and after photographs may be taken for treatment records. Client can opt out for pictures used for marketing purposes • For health, safety, and insurance reasons, children and additional guests are not permitted at appointments • No refunds are offered on completed treatments under any circumstances


10. Consent & Acknowledgement

By booking and attending a treatment at Pink Ink by Lina, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood all policies • You have disclosed all relevant medical information truthfully • You understand the nature, risks, and limitations of permanent makeup treatments • You consent to the procedure being carried out

Pink Ink by Lina reserves the right to refuse treatment if deemed unsuitable or unsafe.
